I will be at Harriman & Co for the St Mary’s Fair on 24th October, with a small selection of handmade silver rings available to try on and purchase on the day. I will also be there to chat about my jewellery-making workshops, both at Harriman & Co and at my studio, and to answer any questions you might have about getting involved. If you have something more personal in mind, I will also be taking bespoke and custom-fitted ring orders on the day. We can chat through your ideas, measure your ring size and create something tailored specifically to you. Whether you are looking for a ready-to-wear ring, interested in trying your hand at jewellery making, or have an idea for a piece you’d love to create, come along and say hello!

Make your own solid silver ring, using the traditional lost-wax casting process in this relaxed, hands-on autumn workshop. Edith is a jewellery designer and maker based in Leicestershire, working under her studio practice “For Edith” In this hands-on session, Edith will guide you through carving and shaping your own ring design. Exploring shape, texture and surface detail, with supportive one-to-one guidance, you will begin with a simple block of jeweller’s wax and learn how to measure, size, carve and refine your ring, gradually transforming an initial idea into a wearable form. By the end of the session, you will have created a finished wax model of your ring, ready to be professionally cast in solid silver and finished by hand to a high polish. Your completed ring will be ready to collect from Harriman & Co. approximately 3-4 weeks after the workshop. The workshops offer an accessible and creative introduction to jewellery making, with no previous experience needed, just curiosity and a love of making.
